She Decides

We’re not political – by design, but Clozure supports caregivers, and we’d like them to appreciate that they have more clout than they realize when it comes to impacting the policies that affect their lives.
In an AARP study called "She's The Difference", the point was made that Women over 50 vote more than virtually every other societal slice, so what they care about should matter more to their lawmakers. They may just be too busy to protest.
What they want – and need – certainly matters to us. For example, women over 50 predominate as caregivers, and they’re stressed out, worried that there aren’t enough hours in the day to focus on their jobs, their kids, their aging parents and their own partners who may be feeling infirm.
If that’s you, you are not alone! More than 7 in 10 women aged 50+ say they are either providing or have provided care to an adult loved one. And more than a third of caregivers still are in the workforce, including 19% who have full-time jobs!
You’re here because you think there aren’t enough hours in the day to make plans for the day you won’t be there to support everyone you love, and you need help.
We’ve been where you are; we know what to do, and we’ve broken the job into “bird bites.”
Using the Clozure app – and with ready access to trained, human, end-of-life concierges – you now have a “wingman.” Coda, our digital cardinal assistant, who will help you organize your priorities. You’ll be able to rank them by order of importance to you, whether it’s making sure everyone gets along, or that the doctor knows the extent of your medical care. We’ll then break them into smaller tasks you can do on a daily or weekly basis. Coda is here to help you:
-
Get your own affairs in order because no one will do it for you.
-
Compose health directives in case you become unable to care for yourself.
-
Tell your life story so future generations appreciate what you’ve done to instill your own values in your kids and provide guidance for the future and
-
Plan your memorial and write your own obituary so your cousin Ethel doesn’t end up writing it with ChatGPT.
Besides Coda, you’ll have a designated legacy contact who knows how to access all your important papers, how to close your accounts, what to do with the car and the house, and how much to donate to your alma mater. We take care of that contact too, giving him or her guidance on what they need to take care of when, even if you die unexpectedly. (And a third of us will, by the way!)
No long lists: just alerts WHEN it is time to engage, and how to put things in order. (How long before a will goes to prob
Of course, if you’re a planner, you’ve already made the lists. What you need is someone who helps to get things done. We also can supply you with a list of vetted professionals to offer legal and financial assistance, even folks you may need to organize and sell your house.
That's not all; when mom goes, we know exactly what to do, and you can call us to plan and carry out her memorial, notify the important people, clean up her accounts, and make sure every choice is honored. We’d love to come alongside you now, while your parents are still with you, to help you have those conversations that become your plans. Those plans are your bedrock, your touchstone when grief immobilizes you and your control feels like it’s slipping.
Download the app today and drop us a line with those ideas that keep you organized when you need a hand. We’d be honored to pass them along.
